Terry Cummings is a former professional basketball player known for his outstanding career in the NBA. Born on March 15, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, Cummings played college basketball at DePaul University before being selected as the second overall pick in the 1982 NBA Draft by the San Diego (now Los Angeles) Clippers. Throughout his career, Cummings played for several teams including the Milwaukee Bucks, San Antonio Spurs, and Philadelphia 76ers. He was a two-time NBA All-Star and won the NBA Rookie of the Year award in 1983.
