Summary:

The Global Talent Show is a live competition where participants from around the world showcase their talents in four distinct categories: Singing, Comedy, Performing Arts, and Instruments. The competition spans four weeks, each with a unique theme, and a total prize pool of $50,000. The top performer in each category will receive $5,000, with additional prizes for top participants in each round. Voting will be conducted separately for each category, and 50% of participants will be eliminated each week.


Categories:

  1. Singing

    • Solo performances, vocal groups
    • Performers will showcase their vocal skills with diverse song choices each week.
    • Weekly themes (e.g., world beats, mashups, original songs).

  2. Comedy

    • Stand-up comedy, improv, and sketch performances
    • Weekly themes (e.g., cultural comedy, personal storytelling).

  3. Performing Arts

    • Acting, monologues, spoken word, improv
    • Weekly themes (e.g., emotional performances, dramatic storytelling).

  4. Instruments

    • Solo or group instrumental performances
    • Weekly themes (e.g., classical, contemporary, fusion).


Event Format:

  • Entry Fee: $99.99 per participant
  • Total Slots Available: 1,000
  • Prize Pool: $50,000

    • Top Winner in Each Category: $5,000
    • Remaining Prize Pool: Divided across 2nd place, 3rd place, and honorable mentions
    • Additional Prizes: Sponsor gifts (electronics, musical gear, etc.)

  • Voting: Separate voting for each category, conducted weekly. Voting is done using MCC tokens.
  • 50% Elimination: 50% of participants are eliminated each week based on votes.
  • Performances: Every category performs each week with the top 50% advancing.

  • Singers, Comedians, Performers, and Instrumentalists showcase international influences.
  • Voting and elimination after performances.

Week 3: Creativity Unleashed

Theme: “Unconventional Performances”

  • Singers, Comedians, Performers, and Instrumentalists perform with creative twists.
  • Voting and elimination after performances.

Week 4: Ultimate Showdown

Theme: “The Grand Talent Clash”

  • Singers, Comedians, Performers, and Instrumentalists face off in their final performances.
  • Voting and final elimination.


Rules & Guidelines:

  1. Performance Type:

    • All performances must be live.
    • No recorded or pre-recorded videos allowed.
    • Performances may be done from home (with appropriate setup) or live in front of an audience (virtual or in-person).

  2. Voting Process:

    • Voting will be done separately for each category.
    • Viewers can use MCC tokens to vote for their favorite performers.
    • Only live votes will count, and votes will be weighted based on the level of engagement.

  3. Elimination Process:

    • 50% of participants from each category will be eliminated after each round.
    • Voting results determine who advances to the next round.
    • Final voting will determine the top winners in each category.

  4. Performance Integrity:

    • No use of AI or automated assistance in performances. All talent must be genuine and created by the performers themselves.
    • Performers must not rely on any digital manipulation during their live performances (e.g., no pre-recorded audio tracks, no AI-generated content).

  5. Conduct:

    • Respectful behavior is required from all participants and audiences.
    • Inappropriate behavior, including hate speech, discrimination, or harassment, will result in immediate disqualification.

  6. Props and Equipment:

    • Performers are allowed to use props, instruments, or any necessary equipment, but they must be appropriate for the competition and conform to the rules of their category.
    • For instrumentalists, they must perform on their instrument(s) live, either solo or in a group.

  7. Technical Requirements:

    • Performers using a home setup must ensure their technical equipment (camera, microphone, lighting) is adequate for clear, high-quality performances.
    • A stable internet connection is required for live performances.

  8. Fairness and Transparency:

    • Judges will provide feedback each week alongside voting results to maintain transparency.
    • All votes and eliminations will be publicly visible on the platform.

  9. Sponsor Gifts and MCC Tokens:

    • Sponsors will contribute additional prizes (e.g., electronics, musical gear) to the prize pool, which will be awarded to top winners in each category.
    • MCC Tokens will be awarded to the top performers and used for voting throughout the competition.
