Global DJ Showdown – 4-Week Battle Starting July 4th!

Get ready for the ultimate DJ competition! This 4-week showdown offers DJs the chance to showcase their skills across four high-energy weeks, leading up to a $50,000 prize pool. Performing from home is recommended but not required—you can also do a live show. DJs will compete in categories based on their setup, and the competition will be held each Saturday starting July 4th.

Competition Details

• Event Dates:

  • Round 1: Thursday, July 4 (Grand Kickoff)
  • Round 2: Saturday, July 13
  • Round 3: Saturday, July 20
  • Round 4: Saturday, July 27

• Entry Fee:

  • Round 1: $99.99
  • Round 2: $250
  • Round 3: $400
  • Round 4: $500

• Set Time: 3 to 5 minutes per round
• Prize Pool: $50,000
• Top 3 per Round:

  • 1st Place: $1,500
  • 2nd Place: $1,000
  • 3rd Place: $500

• Advancing DJs: 25% of competitors move forward each round, receiving sponsor gifts, recognition, and exclusive opportunities.

Categories

DJs will compete in these three categories based on their equipment setup:

• Turntable Titans: DJs using turntables will showcase their scratching, cutting, and live vinyl mixing techniques.
• CDJ Masters: DJs using CDJs will demonstrate precision in cue points, live effects, and seamless transitions.
• Digital Dominance: DJs using a laptop + mix board (or any digital setup) will showcase their skills with Digital Vinyl Systems (DVS), controllers, and other digital tools.

Theme Nights

Each round will feature a specific theme that all DJs, regardless of equipment, will perform to. All participants will perform according to the theme of the night, and their performance will be judged based on overall technique, blend, and energy:

• Round 1 (July 4) – Old School vs. New School – Classic hits versus modern tracks. DJs will blend timeless tracks with fresh sounds.
• Round 2 (July 13) – Club Bangers Only – Keep the energy high with the ultimate party anthems and crowd-pleasers.
• Round 3 (July 20) – Global Sounds – DJs will incorporate international music, mixing genres and cultures into their sets.
• Round 4 (July 27) – Red, White & Boom (Finale) – A high-energy celebration to close out the competition, where DJs can showcase their best crowd control and explosive sets.

Voting System

• Voting by Categories: Each round, DJs will be judged based on their equipment category (Turntables, CDJs, or Digital).
• MCC Voting & Stars Voting on Channels.biz:

  • Fans can vote for their favorite DJs using $MCC tokens
  • Stars Voting System – Both fans and judges will determine the winners in each category.
